Priority Agenda 4: Strengthening capacity and development of organizational independence
The fourth priority agenda includes strengthening the national secretariat and coalition member organizations’ capacity to implement the policy advocacy agenda for the extractive industry and natural resources sector governance. It aims to become a credible and trustworthy coalition and network to promote governance reform and strengthen development and democracy in Indonesia.
Capacity building can strengthen organizational governance and management capacity, develop best practices and innovations, advocate strategies and share knowledge, increase degree in communication, and develop financial and economic independence. This capacity strengthening is expected to further increase the resilience and independence of organizations and coalitions in facing challenges (including fundraising challenges) and encourage future coalition progress.
