The Press Conference by PWYP Indonesia responded to the first report of EITI in the 2009 fiscal year in Jakarta on May 13, 2013. Present as speakers at the conference included Maryati Abdullah (National Coordinator of PWYP Indonesia) and Sarmin Ginca (Member of the PWYP Indonesia Steering Board).

Some of the findings highlighted by PWYP Indonesia include:

  1. There are differences in company reports with government reports due to inaccuracies in existing data and information.
  2. Weak coordination between institutions related to extractive industries
  3. Weak commitment from several parties in implementing EITI
  4. There are serious problems in recording state revenues in government agencies
