The transportation sector absorbs considerable energy consumption. Where more than 94% of energy use in the transportation sector in Indonesia comes from fuel oil (BBM). While we know, Indonesia has been a net importer of petroleum since 2004. Therefore, it is important to develop an energy efficiency strategy in the transportation sector to maintain energy security while reducing fiscal risks.
