Recognition of the need for just energy transition has grown in recent years, not only in Indonesia but also in ASEAN. ASEAN is at the forefront of climate risks and as a region, it could lose 37.4 percent of its current GDP by 2048 if climate change mitigation and energy transition are not undertaken (EU-ASEAN Business Council, 2021). ASEAN countries need to learn from each other about planning and implementing energy transition policies.

As such, seeing di importance to discuss the current situation, Publish What You Pay Indonesia will be holding a Knowledge Sharing Forum addressing Gender Equity and Social Inclusion in Energy Transition in ASEAN.
