Since 2020, the number of Human Rights’ violations has soared across the world. In 2023, extreme climate change raises human rights issues, where resistance and criminalization of citizens’ rights to protect their lands become normalized. Crimes and violence targeting civilians, and people displaced by war has become a continuous occurrence as well.

Human rights are the foundation for a just and compassionate world, where everyone can live with dignity and equality. Everyone deserves to be treated as a fair and decent human being.

PWYP Indonesia believes that human rights need to be upheld, wherever and whenever. Because Human Rights are Freedom, Equality, and Justice for all.
